I have used Christmas shades in silver, green, red and variegated metallic threads to complete all the stitching after copying this beautiful design onto white satin finished card cut at 14cm square, the edges of which I have defined with a silver permanent metallic pen.

I began to attach the beading on the centre and have used a clear crystal look button in the centre and attached 8 gem embossed kite shaped clear class bead surrounded by the metallic stitched silver ring.

Each of the 8 green metallic stitched leaf shapes have 3 tiny red seed beads attached and the metallic stitched red 9point star shapes each have a tiny red glass red seed bead attached in the centre.

The outer rim beading consists of 28 variegated luminescent 6mm metallic rice beads each with a tiny green glass seed attached to each end.

I have used red decorative peel off strips to attach inside the silver edge of the completed work and attached a copy paper 13cm square backing sheet to secure all the stitching and beading before attaching this, using red power tape, to the 14.5cm bright green backing sheet.

I have attached a green ribbon across horizontally, 7cm up from the lower edge before attaching this to the 15cm square gloss metallic backing sheet, and then securing the ribbons at the back.

I have attached this to the main 200 gsm white matte crafty Bob photo paper, which is cut at 15 x 30cm and folded easel style and attached the green bow to complete the card front embellishments.

I have used the same bright green to use as the insert backing sheet and attached a photo of the card front and, cup1076002_659, Blue poinsettia Insert, a design by Stephen Poore as the insert and added a peel off poinsettia, and peel off bright red decorative trim.

This design is a delightful challenge to complete as a project. I have used a total of 125 beads, comprising of 28 rice beads, 56 tiny green seed beads, 24 red seed beads, 8 red glass seed beads, 8 gem embossed beads and I crystal button.
