Prick holes as shown in red, stitch as shown in black, and in below photo. Note that the two holes where many threads converge should be pricked considerably larger to allow room for all threads. Also, to make some of the lines more precise, hold a ruler

Pricked onto light green card & stitched the centre in a tan colour.The next layer I stitched in a darker brown & the outer layer in a chocolate brown.This had the effect of raising the centre in steps.I then shaped the corners & pasted onto dark green card,sculped the corners to match the other,put them onto orange card & finally onto dark brown card.I added the leaves to the top corners & the word Autumn.(All crooked lines are the fault of the card-maker & not the design).
