I printed the pattern onto matte card and used it as a template to prick the design onto a square of black textured card.

I followed the stitching guide using a metallic gold/crimson thread and pearl rice beads and small pearls for the beading parts.

When finished I layered it onto a white square card base and added the decoupaged image of cup520942_8, trimming the background matter from it.

This is a beautiful design that looks very effective on the black card, but depending on the colour thread and beads you use, it could have totally different looks for various purposes.
