This card is gorgeous but it is not quick.

I used DMC variegated threads to stitch the design as I have found that the variations add light and shade. I also used seed beads and bugle beads.

This design is very versatile - work it in your mother's favourite colours for a beautiful Mother's Day card, use purples and white on a silver card for a Sympathy card. To finish there are many stitched alphabets on the Internet or stamp or print your greeting in matching colours.
