I thought that I would try something different with this design. I stitched it using a variegated grey thread and used clear or silver beads, etc. To finish I placed the finished design in the centre of my white base card and traced around it.

I then put a wide double sided tape over this line before applying silver foil. My photo shows colour but this is only refraction - the border is simple silver foil. This makes a very elegant card suitable for weddings or funerals, or anything in between.
