Ed078 White Poinsetta

This is a beautiful design for a white poinsettia, thank you Emy, for this design, I have made a simple easel style card for this greeting card and have attached the name to the longer back panel.

The backing card is a dark blue textured core card which I have cut at 29.50 x 13 cm and folded the card so that the front panel measures 13.5cm.

I have attached the easel panel at the back to support the card. After transferring the design to the centre of the card, I have used regular white polyester cotton to complete the stitching using a single thread.

This completed work, without the beads, also would make a beautiful front for a greeting card. I have used a total of 50 beads to complete the card.

This is made up of 12 glass silver 7mm tube beads, 4 large 3mm clear glass seed beads, 4 medium 2mm sized glass seed beads, 1 tiny glass seed bead, 4 large silver 8mm metallic rice beads, 24 medium 7mm silver metallic rice beads and 1 round 2mm round silver metallic bead.

I have added a white peel off strip to all four edges of the card front and added the name of the flower as the sentiment, which I have printed in blue.

I original intended this greeting card as a Christmas card, but have now needed a sympathy card, and I have written my verse and special message inside, So I am only showing the card front in this photograph.

However it is easy to see the versatility of this design for a variety of celebrations and the design will suit many colour combinations.
