Basket of Eggs

I pricked out the pattern onto a shaded lemon card and stitched the eggs in variegated rayon threads. The basket and napkin were stitched in brown and blue and the greeting in pink. The outside border is gold with gold beads.

I printed off the little flowers onto photographic paper to retain their rich colour. I finished off the card by colouring the eggs with watercolour pencils.
