If you want to use an easy quick and easy, elegant looking stitching pattern to follow, this would be a first choice.

I have copied the pattern onto pale blue patterned vellum over a light weight white card.

I have used 2 metallic threads, one in vivid bright green and the other in multi coloured variegated shades. I have used 10 round 2mm pearl beads to attach and have used a gold peel off vintage lady with a parasol, to attach to a textured card before colouring in the background using wet and dry coloured pencils.

I have used a standard scalloped finished 15 x 11cm white card as the main card and gold peel off strips as extra embellishments.

I am very pleased with the outcome and have another image I wish to use to make another similar card.
