I loved Emy's cool coloured version of the card and wanted to see if changing the colour spectrum would change the look of the card. I worked this design on a separate piece of card which I had edge punched then flat stuck the finished design to my card front. I used variegated embroidery thread for the stitching and my orange beads seemed to have a variety of colours as well.
A lovely card to finish with a motif or writing in the space to the right.
I printed the sewing pattern on 80g copy paper, put it in place with tape on white sewing cardboard and poked all holes. I have used a green gray thread and decorated with matching rhinestones and beads.
I have used a small Chinese girl as decorative motif.

Made a Christmascard with this border. The image is from Marianne Design Snoesje. The beads are pearls.
