Just the Two of Us - 3D Decoupage SheetCompleted by Pamela Horton The whispering Platypus

Thank You Janice for this ever so cute and busy decoupage. I made a white card 29x21cm and used D.S Tape to attach a slightly darker pink Gingham backing sheet. I printed the graphic sheet onto light white200gsm card and cut out all the elements.I attached the largest element to a green leaf print card13 x 19.5 with thick foam D.S strips leaving 0.5cm at the top. Then attached the green card to the card front With slightly thinner D.S Strips. Using a strip of the pink gingham 2.8 cm wide & a darker green leaf print 3cm wide on top sing DS tape I attached this to the card front touching the bottom edge of the largest element.I then completd the decoupage step by step using D.S foam Squares. I threaded 4mm wide lengths of a darker green ribbon through the two buttons, and used the foam squares to attach them to opposite coloured hearts I cut out each of the tiny rectangle hearts and backed them with the darker green & attached them with the foam squares. The sentiment I side step matched and mounted them with the foam strips cut to fit. Ii made a cupid's arrow& mounted 2 glitter hearts onto the darker green print card and attached them with D.S Foam Squares It is busy but oh so cute for the receiver to be able to take in all the detail
