I matted the main image on to black card before mounting on a piece of blue card - slightly smaller than A5 landscape.

I scored a piece of black card twice(along the width) at half inch intervals. then I scored an A5 interval and 2 further half inch intervals and trimmed the remainder.

Leave a flap either side to afix to the front panel. I matted the main image on to the inside of the black card with the half inch intervals at the top and bottom.

Using another piece of A5 blcak card I cut an oval from the centre, placed peel offs around the oval and attached to the main panel to reveal the spitfire.

I layered the spitfire and finished with a ribbon. This box card will stand and will also fold flat for posting.
