I printed this image on to matt photo paper and cut out the elements. I matted the main image on to pearl gold card and cut around the scallop again. I matted this on to a white 8x8 card and cut around the scallop again.
I matted gold peral card on to the inner card and mounted on top a sentiment on white paper matted on plum pearl card.
I decoupaged the main image. Great for the chaps. I love these "aged look" designs.
The design was printed on quality cardstock and the decoupage was done with foam pads. The card front was attached, with double sided tape, to a cream card. The front of the base card was scalloped to match the shape of the card front.
I made a cream insert and used images from the decoupage pieces provided. They are slightly visible on the right hand side of the card when it is closed. A couple of metal grommets were placed in the center of the gears to complete this very appealing male card.
