Pink Salvias - Scalloped Card Front with Background Edge
Scalloped card fronts are so pretty, but I always feel they need something 'at the back' to finish them off!
So here are some delicious pink salvias on a scalloped front, but these come with a shaped background edge which is mounted on the inside of the back of the card.
This gives a lovely 'complete' look to the card. There are other flower designs available in this series too - just click on my name and enter scal-cards in the search box.

A very pretty and unusual card shape. I started off printing the sheet onto glossy photo card and then cutting out the pieces. I then added the large scallop topper to the front of my white 5x7 card front with doublesided tape. I then trimmed around the scallop edge.
Next I added the inverted scallop piece to the inside of the card. I next added the decoupage pieces using silicone glue. I traced around the scallop edge to make myself a matching insert to go with the card. Very pretty and oriental looking. Once I find a lovely oriental embellishment I may add it to the front top.
