Vintage Flowers Duodecoupage
Two toppers, sets of decoupage layers and greeting banners on one sheet! This sheet uses restored vintage paintings of daffodils with a blue ribbon on a brown background, and yellow roses on a green background.

I had purchased this duo decoupage design by Russ Smith when it was a shooting star and had not posted any photographs.
The images are from original paintings and have a very universal appeal.
I have chosen this duo decoupage design to make again as a request from a friend for a 60th. birthday greeting, a get well greeting and a sympathy card.
The golden rose design, I printed twice onto white 170gsm A4 satin finished photo paper. I used the main image to mount onto a 9cm paper doily topped with a coffee stain effect coloured scalloped circle and allowed this to over-hang down on the left lower corner.
I attached the 13x5cm gold satin finished backing paper onto the left exposing 1cm visible at the top and left side of the main image before attaching this part of the topper to the backing, background sheet cup1044271_21027 crushed pastel green cut at 14x9cm.
I defined the edges of the backing sheet with a gold metallic permanent pen. I used the green satin ribbon to attach across the front of the topper 8.5cm down from the top edge and hid and secured the tails at the back of the backing sheet.
I prepared the main card by printing the same crushed pastel green backing sheet onto both sides of 170gsm photo paper, then cut it down to measure 23 x15cm before scoring and folding it and attaching the topper onto the folded card front.
I completed the insert using the same crushed green to print onto 80gsm copy paper onto which I had printed the message and the verse and used the main larger rose element to print onto the centre of the insert.
I attached this to the inside section of the card before completing the decoupage using all the smaller elements provided with the sheet.
I defined the edges of the main card with the same pen, added the multi sized pale green pearls, the jewelled and glitter 60, the peel off gem strips, the larger clear gem and the green bow as extra embellishments.
To complete the dimensional effect of the decoupage, I have used mod podge dimensional magic to the outer petals of the rose and the bud.
To make the next 2 greetings, I have used the daffodil design topper for both and printed the sheet twice onto 170gsm white photo paper.
I have used an ivory card cut at 22 x14cm as the main card for the get well soon sentiment and attached the 13x9.5cm burnt-orange, the12.5x8.5cm ivory backing sheets and the 12.5x7.5cm main image onto the card front using D.S tape.
Before completing the decoupage, I have used the green metallic permanent pen to define the card front edges and silver peel off strips around the edges of the backing sheets.
I added the sentiment supplied using padded D.S. tape the insert is cup1050436_21027, Greeting card insert, and blank verse space with daffodil which I printed at 22x15cm and trimmed slightly to fit.
For the Sympathy sentiment finished card, I have used the same crushed pale green backing sheet, cup1044271_21027 as above to print onto both sides of the 22x15cm photo paper and attached using D.S. tape the tan 14x10cm, the burnt orange 13x9cm backing sheets, which have the gold and the brown, gold edged ribbons, attached across the front 5.5cm up from the lower edge of the larger tan backing sheet.
