Blue Crocus DecoupageCompleted by Pamela Horton The whispering Platypus

This delightful image if a blue Crocus I have made into a beautiful birthday celebration card, will also be able to often in the future as it will suit almost all female occasions and celebrations and even Easter, and Sympathy.

I have oriented the sheet twice onto white card making the main image to measure14.11cm and using D.S. tape attached it to a pale green backing sheet and a white backing sheet before attaching this to the main mauve gingham, 16x13cm card front.

I used padded tape to attach onto the cut out lace section and attached to the back of this oval lace section, level with the existing ribbon, the purple glitter ribbon together with a narrow white length of lace, before attaching it to the card front.

I completed the decoupage using small padded square, and added the peel off sentiment. I have written a verse and attached it in place and used a left over image to attach onto the left hand side.

This card it’s a 6 ½” x 5” envelope. The envelope can be made using a 9 ¼” square of paper or light card.
