Vintage Rose Decoupage SheetCompleted by Peggy Stogdill
OccasionPrinted on matte photo paper. I used DST to cover the front of a white card with a Graphic 45 striped paper, then a slightly smaller piece of white card embossed with leaves, and serendipity!-some PERFECT vellum printed with leaves that I found in my stash.
Before I attached the vellum, I glued the small, extra rosebud to the white embossed card, then added the vellum with a strip of very narrow DST across the top and another strip across the bottom (I cut the vellum shorter than the white card).
I glue a strip of ribbon over the join of the vellum and white card, then glued the base image in place (added an extra leaf from another copy I'd printed).
I built the decoupage with silicone, slightly shaping the layers, then added a sentiment, a bow, and a strip of rhinestones (not apparent in the photo, but some of the stones are a sepia color).
The inside is finished with another piece of the vellum, attached with narrow DST along the spine of the card.
