Lovely Blue Roses
This kit includes the main card topper, ribbon with bow and three decoupage layers.

Thank You Deloris and a big hug is sent your way for this delightfully beautiful and easy, quick card topper offering just the right amount of step by step decoupage to wet my card making desires.
I printed the sheet provided onto Caftybob’s white matte card and set this aside while I set up the backing sheets.
The main card is cup827619_79993, Botanical leaf in blue, a design by Clare Walker, which I have printed onto both sides of the card, and then cut at 29.5 x 12.5cm and scored and folded it before I attached the backing sheets.
The largest 14.5 x 11.5cm paler blue backing sheet, I attached to the card front using D.S. tape and then used fine lined gold peel off strips and small basket weave corners as embellishments.
The next darker blue 13.5 x 11.5cm backing sheet I attached to the card front using padded D.S. tape and used white peel off strips as embellishments along all 4 edges.
The white gloss backing sheet is 12.5 x 9.5cm, and the edges have glitter gold peel off strips as embellishments, and is attached to the card front using padded D.S. tape.
I cut out the main image from the sheet and defined the edges with a dark blue pen and before attaching it to the card front, I attached half a 9cm white doily which I had smudged with the same dark blue pen and a tiny make up sponge, using multi glue gel, to the back of this main image, and then used regular D.S tape to attach this main image to the card front.
Before I completed the very easy decoupage I attached the very pale blue tiny self-adhesive pearls, so that they still appeared to be under the main roses.
I made a sentiment and added the pearls to this.
To complete the insert I used a verse from the free verse section and attached it the other half of the blue smudged doily, and drew the embellishments, which are also smudged with blue.
