A Rose for a Rose on your Birthday
A beautiful red rose on a faded red rose background, embellished with black tulle lace corners and birthday text, with three layers of rose decoupage.
Looks fab on a red card!

Copied to glossy photo paper and cut out all the elements. I recoloured the leaves and stalk for photographic reasons.Assembled the rose using sticky pads. Coloured the corners and rounded corners off. Matted to red card using d.s.t. which I had applied first.
Added a pink ribbon, red hearts and some glitter. The design has made a beautiful card that I am very pleased to have in my portfolio.
