Swans and Roses ScallopCompleted by Margaret McCartney

I printed the design onto good quality photographic paper and cut it out. I scored and folded an A4 card landscape. I attached a background paper from my craft box to the card using double sided tape. I attached the design to the card using double sided tape.

Instead of attaching the different swans one on top of the other I cut out the body of the first swan decoupage piece and feathered the edges by making lots of cuts into the edge of the paper.

I then shaped it with my fingers and attached it to the base swan using thin foam tape. I did this again on the second swan decoupage but this time I cut a smaller part of the body and feathered it.

I attached it to the swan also using thin foam tape. I then added glitter to the feathers and to the roses to enhance this lovely design.
