I printed the design onto quality photo paper, cut it out and decoupaged the pieces. Onto a white square card I matted a piece of cup146132_96 and layered the image and sentiment panel over it as shown.
I used gold peel-offs for the sentiment to complete the card.
This is a sweet vintage design that could be used for many different occasions.
Cut out the biggest picture and mount this onto gold card. Cut around it leaving a gold border of about 5mm. You can use this as a topper on its own.
To use the decoupage pieces - cut them all out and layer them over the top of the picture using the largest pieces first.
To make them curve around the edges (this makes it look better when finished) lie the pieces face down in the plam of your hand and rub around the edges with the blunt end of a biro or something similar, before sticking it down with foam pads.
Then stick the ribbons to a gold strip before putting it on the card and also mount the happy birthday label with a piece of gold card.
