I printed this on Crafty Bob paper at about 95% of it's original size. I cut out all the pieces, edged them all with dusky pink felt tip to cover the white edges of the paper and then layered the pieces with foam pads.
I stuck two of the butterflies with glue along the bodies only and bent the wings up to give a fluttering effect.
I also printed cup256723_1435 and cup342157_442 at full size. I cut a square of the olive satin backing paper (cup256723_1435) to mat and layer onto an 8"x8" card blank and then cut a square of cup342157_442 slightly smaller to mat and layer onto that.
I stuck a length of brown grosgrain ribbon with white stitching along the middle of the card and mounted the decoupage topper on top with foam pads.
I made the greeting from an off-cut of the olive satin backing and used Doodlebug self adhesive letters to spell "Mum".
Lastly I embellished the design with various coordinating adhesive pearls and glitter dots. I have used the gatefold insert cut to a square inside this card.
This is a sophisticated design which is perfectly matched by the bold backing paper.
