Camelia Beauty 2 Card Sheet Step by StepCompleted by Pamela Horton The whispering Platypus

I have updated this design by Sally McIntyre and have included a detailed description with photographs in a free tutorial for your use.

I originally purchased this sheet in October 2013 and have used it many times.

I have used a 15cm square card for the main card and a 27 x 14.5cm card for the insert which I have scored and folded off centre at the 13cm point.

This means that the front of the insert page is narrower than the back of the insert part of the card.

I have used pink and green shades for the backing sheets. The main card is printed on the outside with the Butterfly Backing Paper 4 Green, cup885225_919 print.

I have used gloss 200gs.m photo paper to complete all the decoupage and for the main image I have used a matt copy as the backing sheet and backed it with a pink very fine striated style backing sheet.

I have used gold peel off strips and some green and pink coordinating coloured paper strips across before completing the step by step decoupage.

Pale green pearls and a pink ribbon complete the embellishments.

The insert front page and the inside front and back covers of the main page are covered with pink with white spot paper.

I have attached lace onto the edge of the insert attached some paper strips a bright pink backing for the main image, attached pink peel off strips and completed the decoupage.

I have attached the pink ribbon over the lace and completed the tail joins at the back.

In the open page of the insert there are 2 different backing sheets but still keeping within the theme of pink and green.

I have used the extra middle sized Camelia flower the 2 small leaves, that do not match the smaller image, and one large leaf to become the embellishments for the inside of the card.

The verse is yet to be attached and I have made lots of space for personal messages and signatures. This card will be used for the birthday celebration for my craft group friends to all sign. The design makes into a simple step by step greeting card, but has the potential with all the elements supplied to make that point of difference, to please any recipient.
