I reduced the image size by 50% and printed onto plain white thin card. I cut out all the elements which are easy shapes to cut around even with my arthritic fingers.

I added the decoupage pieces with glue gel then I cut a slit around the bottom of the bouquet and poked a few of the lilies through the slit glueing the stems at the back.

I thought this might look more natural than cutting off the stems of the bottom flowers. I arranged the rest of the stems to form a beautiful bouquet and added orange glitter glue to the stamens.

The whole image was glued to a die cut square which was then attached to my base card.
