Nativity scene and poinsettia

The very soft subtle hues in this delightful image of a nativity scene set in a beautiful floral circle surrounded with delicate poinsettias I have backed with a previous purchase of background, backing papers, cup1002195_77133, Glitter background kit and I have used the multi coloured paper in blues and pinks.

I cut this to fit the card font14x13.5 and left a narrow white margin to be able to attach the decorative glitter silver peel off strips.

I used the same kit to alter the hue of the burgundy background sheet to become a rose pink shade and cut it at 12.5cm square.

I attached the silver ribbon across horizontally before I attached this to the main image and then completed the step by step method of the decoupage.

I have added the extra poinsettia decoupage and the fine line silver peel off strips and attached the silver bow as extra embellishments.

As I had made 2 copies of the sheet provided, I was able to use the extra elements as part of the decoupage on the card front and the frame as part of the insert.

I have backed the verse I have chosen with the same pink backing sheet. This delightful image of a nativity scene will be welcome in any recipients’ home. Pamela Horton. The Whispering Platypus.
