This design for a Christmas Greeting card is another delightful and quick and easy vintage style by Gitte Kristiansen.

I printed the sheet onto white copy paper and cut out the main element to measure 10.75cm x 10.75cm by leaving a tiny white margin on all 4 sides which I then defined with a gold permanent marker.

I attached 2 lengths of red ribbon across the back of this main image 5cm apart securing it with magic tape.

I mounted this main image, using padded D.S tape onto a cream backing sheet cut at 12cm square and used the same gold marker to define the edges.

I used D.S. tape to attach this to a red backing sheet cut at 13cm square. I wrapped the ribbon around to the back of the red backing sheet securing it with magic tape. I used D.S tape to attach this topper to the card front which measures 14cm square when closed.

I attached gold peel off strips around the edges of the red backing strip, and used a red marker to define the outer edges of the card front.

I used D.S. padded squares, and the step by step method to cut out the smaller elements and attach them in place.

I added a gold snowflake and red bow before completing the insert.

I used the bauble with the Merry Christmas and the same gold peel off strip to hang the bauble and attached the free verse, by Janyce Cotterill, which you will find in the vintage Christmas collection, which is ideal for these vintage style cards.

The result is this beautiful card, with such universal appeal which I will be able to use many times and so boost my Christmas collection ready for December.
