Waiting for SantaCompleted by Keeley Towler

I printed the download up 3 times. I started with a piece of Red cardboard large enough to attache the window frame and double the length. This was then folded in half to create a tent card. From the front, I cut a rectangle large enough so you could see through the window once the card was complete.

I then cut the window frame out per the design and then cut the centre of the window out and attached this to acetate. I then cut the window in half so that the window opened up.

I cut the little girl out and then used papertole/decoupage to create a 3D image. She was then attached to the outside of the red card, looking through the window.

I printed some blue paper with snow falling and attached to the inside of the red card so that it appears it is snowing as you look through the window. I then cut out the Santa and used papertole/decoupage to create another 3D image. This was then mounted into the inside of the red card so that Santa is looking in a the girl. As the window opens, the is no pressure on design.

I then cut the lower corners of front of the red card and attached some latch hooks. This keeps the red card closed but allows the receiver to open up and have a look inside.

This was then all mounted onto some green cardboard and some 3D gold star stickers added to the corner.
