Happy Snowmen 1Completed by Pamela Horton The whispering Platypus

The 2 two delightful and extremely happy snowmen have made a beautiful very special card for 2 special friends.

I used Mistletoe and Berries, cup797371_79993, a background sheet designed by Clare Walker to make the main card, by printing onto both sides of an 120gsm white card and cutting it at, 19x14cm, and then scoring and folding it in half.

I used a red pen to define all the edges. I made 2 backing sheets, the white is 12.5cm x 9cm and I have defined the edges with a red pen, the red snowflake sheet measures 13 x 9.5cm.

I attached the main image to the front of the white backing sheet and the red snowflake to the back of the white, using D.S. tape.

I used the red ribbon to attach to the front main image and secure at the back of the red snowflake backing sheet using red power tape.

I used the red power tape to attach this topper to the card front.

I then cut out the decoupage keeping the hair curls attached with a slightly larger margin. I then used a dry blue water colour pencil to colour in the areas around the curls. I used padded D.S tape and thick white glue to attach the decoupage. I have added Gold Dust Glitter Effects to the hats and card edges.

The bow I have attached using red power tape. I printed the verse I have written, which I have placed in my free verse selection under Christmas. It is free for use at any time. This is a special card I have made for 2 very special people, and I am very pleased with the result.
