The Seamstress.
She worked from morning til well into night
To finish her task and to get it right
Was her only vision but not a chore
She stitched til her fingers were swollen and sore.
By dawn she looked round in horror at the mess
Then a smile lit her face as the sun shone on the dress.
She's kept her promise, she knew with a glance
Her daughter would be the Queen of the Dance.
A poem is the centrepiece of this card which is surrounded by sewing embellishments. Sentiments are for 'Happy Birthday', 'Thank You' and 'Thinking of You'.
