I printed this on Kodak matt finish photo paper. I used khaki coloured card topped with chocolate brown coloured embossed card as the background, adhered with mounting squares. For the base I used 2mm adhesive foam squares and 1mm for the remaining layers.
Finished off with gold, black, bronze and green trim.
I printed on to matte photo paper and printed two copies. First of all I attached a sheet of acetate over the topper to give the effect of a gift box covering, attaching it at the top edge only.
I then mounted the topper on to a card.
Layered the jam jars. From the second copy I cut out the Happy Birthday strip and layered this on to my card. This then hides the sticky tape on the acetate. Added a staple at each end to finish. A great fun design.
