I have used this delightfully feminine image of a fashionable lady in a stunning split front black and white gown as the topper for this mini book style, birthday card which has given this completed card, the wow factor, I wanted to achieve, to help celebrate this birthday. I printed the sheet provided twice onto 170gsm white satin finished photo paper. This meant I was able to use the 2 copies to increase the layers of the decoupage which I mounted together with padded D.S. tape and backed with the shaped light purple and the mottled mauve both cut in the same shape and the mottled mauve. The light purple card front backing sheet is cut at 16x14cm. I have made 2 concertina folds on the left which has the purple ribbon inserted and held in place using red power tape. I secured the ribbon at the front and tied the bow using the tails. I attached this to the 15x15 light purple card front and attached the light purple backing sheet using red padded D.S. power tape, attached the diamante style gems to the outside edges and also to the smaller pearls, the completed topper, the number 50 and the tiny birthday sentiment. I have included a photograph of the card standing as I have made a mini book using some other purchased sheets.
