A most unusual very female design with wonderfully pleasing results. I printed the card out on both Crafty Bob's matt and gloss paper, but preferred, the very top layer, made up in the gloss, the look is so much more professional. I used the matt main card topper as the background, and cut the various elements out in the gloss. So the frame the lady and the flowers final finished topper is all in the gloss. I edged the frame and the lady both in a matching permanent ink pad. This helped give the dimension I wanted to achieve. The main backing sheet is the largest 15cmx11.5cm, being the same shade as the main card. the next is a silver/white glitter card 11.02cm x 14.08cm. I needed to attach this with Crafty Bob's Special heavy duty red D.s tape due to the effect the glitter has on adhesive tape and glue. I used an organza (2.5 cm wide) in aqua /blue ribbon around these 2 backing sheets at 2cm down from the top of the backing sheet, and used Crafty Bob's Heavy Duty roll of mounting tape to attach this to the main card, which is a very pale pink card, (. 24cm x 16cm folded in half ). Once I had completed the cutting and mounting of the elements to the Matt version of the topper using small padded D.s tiny dots and squares, I used a pink with aqua print (9.5cm x3cm) and a pale aqua stripe ( 10.02cm x 14cm) print to back the topper. I attached D.S Mounting tape to the back of the aqua backing sheet to attach this to the completed backing sheets already attached to the card. The bow is 2 lengths(about 30cm trimmed when I had completed the bow) of 6mm silver edged ribbon, which I slid under the larger ribbon and pulled firmly to scrunch the corner of the larger ribbon and tied together to form a small double bow.

I intend to place the sentiment in the centre of the mirror style backing of the lady, but as it is so universal for any female celebration, I am keeping my options open.

Pauline I have just done a remake of this design as i have had a request from my charity craft day to remake this card for one of our members. I have made a few changes using a different background and a large sentiment and we have all signed inside.
