Carnations and Roses with Ornate Frame and DecoupageCompleted by Peggy Stogdill

Printed on matte photo paper. I rough-cut the base image and glued it (glue stick) to a card so that the furthest left edges were against the fold of the card.

When it was dry, I cut out the design through all layers (image and both card layers), but tapered off my cut in the middle of the second set of "bumps" on the left so that the portion of the card in the middle, under the bow and to about the center of each "bump", was still intact.

I printed a second copy of the base image, removed the center oval, and attached it with silicone over the first image to give some dimension to the frame.

Also added the decoupage and sentiment with silicone.

Finished with some Liquid Pearl dots around the oval and in the corners and a vintage-look bow to cover the portion of the folded card that was still visible.

This is SO beautiful.
