I cut the design out and mounted it onto 240gsm cardstock. I cut the other pieces out and using 3d foam pads layered them onto the main design.

Printed the 3D image on high quality glossy photo paper and cut out the components. Cut basic dark blue card. Cut yellow second layer. Cut white top layer which I embroidered. Assembled the 3D in the centre of top top layer.
The final touches were gold-leafing of top layer, printing, gold-leafing of sentiments and gluing to card, and finally 2 small gold stickers with gift parcels on either side of the mechanic image.
