Blue Rainbow Panda 8Completed by Lisa Bird

I made this adorable new baby card using the Blue Rainbow Panda 8 design.

I printed the sheet onto 220gsm card and carefully cut out the main topper, decoupage pieces and one of the sentiments.

For the base I used a 7" x 7" white card blank. I layered the main design onto black card, which gives the bright blues, greens and rainbow colours a lovely strong border and really helps the topper stand out.

I then attached the topper to the front of the card and built up the panda and rainbow cloud using the decoupage pieces and foam pads. This gives the central image plenty of depth and makes the little panda look as though it is sitting forward from the background.

To finish the card I added one of the included sentiments, choosing “New Baby Boy” to match the blue colour scheme.

I love how bright and cheerful this design is. The little panda is very cute, while the rainbow colours stop the card from feeling too traditionally blue. The black matting also gives the finished card a really crisp, striking look.
