Still Life in the Old Dog - Basset Hound
Say what you see - Still Life in the Old Dog - a funny design made especially for the ageing male in your life.
It's a long time since I've made one of my wordplay cards - to see others simply search for wordplay on my designer page.

I printed the design onto quality photo paper, cut it out and decoupaged the pieces. I matted it onto an embossed white square card base and used copper peel-offs to add a border.
This is such an easy, appealing card to make which makes me chuckle every time I look at it.
I love to paint still life and when I saw this, I just laughed and laughed. I printed the sheet on matte photo paper, then layered onto a white card with a deeply embossed dark blue paper.
The decoupage was added with silicone gel after shaping the elements a bit, and I finished with some brown twine and a peel-off sentiment mounted on textured brown paper.
Now, which artist friend do I send this to? :-)
