Jewelled Butterfly on Rich Gold Brocade Square Card
A rich gold brocade background overlaid with a sepia lace doily and a large jewelled butterfly, then decorated with tiny jewelled butterflies.
When I made my card, I decoupaged five small butterflies on the front (in the top right corner and at either end of my sentiment) then used seven more down the right hand inside edge of the card.
I stuck the two large butterflies back to back and curled the wings before attaching it.

I printed the design onto good quality photographic paper and cut it out. I scored and folded a square card. I assembled the main butterfly using thin foam tape. I added the small butterflies using silicone glue. I attached the design to the card using double side tape.
I added the greeting to the card using thin foam tape. I added gold and silver glitter to the main butterfly.
