If you like completing step by step and decoupage greeting cards, this beautiful feminine floral design by Deloris is a perfect choice.

I copied the sheet supplied twice as I wanted to use one copy as the main backing sheet, and one copy to keep the frame I had cut away as part of the insert.

I have defined the edges of the backing sheets using a glitter gloss bright rose pink pen.

The backing sheets I have used are a faded rose pink cut at 13 x 2.75 and an aqua blue cut at 13.5 x 13.25, and the main white card, when it is scored and folded, measures 14.5 x 14cm..

I used a wide deep rose pink coloured satin ribbon to wrap around the backing sheets before attaching them to the main white card using D.S. tape.

I then used the second copy, with the main spotty frame cut away carefully keeping the overhanging flowers, leaves and the sentiment tag intact and I used padded tape to attach this to the card front.

I then cut out the smaller elements to form and complete the decoupage using tiny padded D.S. dots and squares.

I tied the bow and attached it with red power tape.

I used a butterfly floral print in a very pale dusty pink to back the frame I had kept and to attach this to the right hand side of the insert.

I used the same floral print for the left hand side of the insert and added a butterfly to this and used the extra copies of the decoupage to add to the area I will attach the verse and my personal greeting for the right hand side of the insert.
