I printed this design on matte photo paper and the rich colours give the finished card the look of velvet.

The pieces are easy to cut out and I used 1mm foam squares to layer them.

I have not used the included birthday greeting as I intend to use this card for next Valentine's Day. It would also be suitable as a 'Missing you' card, a condolence card or simply a 'Thinking of you' card - beautiful design with so many possibilities.
