Here is a card with a difference if you are looking at trying something new. Apetrose Stefan has offered this delightfully, traditional yet nostalgic image for purchase.
The step by step builds up only in 2 of the corners and gives depth with extra interest and yet is quick and easy to make.
I cut out all the elements and edged the sides of the main image and the bronze corners of each piece with a black permanent pen.
I used padded D.S. Squares and smaller pieces to put the elements in place.
I have used Chocolate Wood, cup 1170555_72967, a design by Lucy Kate Designs to cut at 16x12cm and edged with a gold metallic pen as the backing sheet and a matching bronze brown main card cut at 26x16.5cm.
I have added a gold bow as extra embellishments. The insert has some holly, the verse I have chosen and a smaller image of the topper. Pamela Horton. The Whispering Platypus.
