Christmas Poinsettia Circle SliderCompleted by Shirley Thompson

I printed the images onto 280 gsm matt white card before cutting out. I matted the backing paper onto some red card leaving a narrow border, then stuck this to the front of an A5 300 gsm white card using tacky glue.

I cut out a circle slightly larger than the outer circle from gold mirror card and affixed it to the card front.

I attached the outer circle to the card front with 3mm foam pads, and added 3mm foam pads to the back of the inner circle.

I made the slider mechanism by attaching two 1pence pieces together with two 3mm foam pads stuck one on top of the other.

I fitted the mechanism and the inner circle to the card front and finally added the poinsettia motif using a foam pad.

Finally, I matted the sentiment onto red card and attached it using foam pads. I chose to remove the whole of the cut out circle because I like it to spin all the way around.
