Poker Night - Shaped Topper, Insert & Decoupage
This sheet is designed for use with an A5 card blank and has everything you need to for a complete card: there's a shaped topper, a matching shaped insert and decoupage layers including a sentiment panel.
Roughly cut out the centre apperture of the base topper and cut around the outside of the shaped topper - matt on to your card blank and cut out teh aperture neatly and then cut around the shape. This leaves an aperture for you to see the centre of your card. The insert has a verse. This can be removed if not required and the aperture left or an alternate verse of your own adding before placing the insert inside your card (the verse should be visible through the front aperture when the card is closed). Cut around the insert to complete the shape. Add decoupage and embelish to finish.
Everything you need on one sheet for a beautiful complete card. This design has poker hands and chips and aces full house- Just great for the gambler, poker champ and men in general - Father's Day, Birthday & Retirement.
Hi All, This is the tutorial for my single sheet designs that have a topper, insert and decoupage layers for an A5 shaped card.
You need a card blank to work with these sheets.
I hope you like them and thank you for looking. The first 3 sheets demo how to make your card using the elements on the sheet - I've shown 2 samples to cover the different shaped apertures. The last 2 sheets show something a little different that can be done using 2 printed sheets of the same design.

Printed onto 190gsm matte photo card. Mounted the front section onto a white card blank then removed the aperture. Added the insert being carful to align with the front then trimmed around the front edges to the same shape as the topper.
Assembled the decoupage using 2mm foam pads.
Added red pearls to the frame & finished with a red polka dot bow.
