Another cute design by Clare for a very special child.

I have made this into a hanging mobile with the centre spinning each way.

I printed the sheet provided onto 200gsm white card, and full size, and followed the directions for cutting and folding, which was very easy.

I used D.S. Tape to matte the front and back together, and threaded a gold thread doubled through the top centre part of the cloud area.

I used the shape of the pixie on the toadstool as a base for the cut out, and so made a template that would allow enough space for the toadstool to swing around, and back and forth.

I then traced from this template onto the front of an A4 white 250gsm card, folded in half and cut out this shape. This left me with a frame for the mobile.

When I was absolutely sure, that there was enough room for the toadstool and pixie to swing, I then drew a larger toadstool and shaded it with a permanent pen, and roughly drew the sides of the tree and some grass.

I used the 3D tape to one side, of the inside of this frame I had made, and before peeling off the backing strips from the 3D tape, I then attached the gold thread to the centre top of the frame on the inside. Once I hjad peeled all the backing strips off the 3D tape, and made sure the gold thread was not caught by the tape, I closed the fame together.

This has made a magic mobile, that I am so happy with.

I will make a smaller card to go with this, and together they will make a super gift. I will add the smaller card to the photographs another day.

I absolutely loved making this. And it was much easier and took a lot less time than my sleepless night led me to believe. Thank you Clare. You do inspire me.
