Trophy Card - Ice Skaters
Easy to make 3D trophy shaped card for an ice skater - a very elegant couple of skaters. Use for Congratulations as well as for Birthdays. Cut out the 'extras' from the sheet, then score and fold along the join between the front and back of the trophy.
Now cut around to give you a free standing trophy card. You can easily cut out the landlocked white pieces inside the handles of the trophy. Do have a look at my album of Trophy cards on the gallery. Panels with alternative greetings to add to the base and 3D layers to add to the fisherman on the trophy.
Or ... you can cut out the 2 trophies and use as 2 toppers on larger cards - the back has nothing on it so you can use to add decoupage of your choice.

I cut the trophy base in half and then cut it out so that it would sit on a standard card.
I used black cardstock and attached a silver embossed card which has the look of ice.
I attached the base layer and built up the decoupage with pinflair, curling the layers rather than leaving them flat.
Everything was mounted to the RHS of the card as it was specially ordered by a customer who wanted a personalised greeting (which I printed onto one of the blank labels and then mounted onto a small piece of black card before attaching to the left of the design.
However, you could easily centre the design if you don't want to add a greeting at the side.
