I printed this file onto matte photographic paper. I printed it twice so that I could add a little more depth to the card, this wasn't necessary, just personal choice.

I matted the base layer onto dark blue card to tone in with the image then pale blue card and attached to a white card blank.

For the second layer I cut round the central panel, this I matted onto dark blue card and attached with foam strips.

I constructed the decoupage using silicone glue, I attached the pencil using foam pads. I lightly glittered the veins of the butterflies using a clear glitter pen.

I matted the sentiment onto silver card and attached with foam pads. Lastly I added a toning ribbon and bow. This is a beautiful image in lovely shades of blue, it was easy to make and the decoupage was very simple to cut.
