Do not stand at my grave and weep
I am not there. I do not sleep.
I am a thousand winds that blow.
I am the diamond glint on the snow.
I am the sunlight on ripened grain.
I am the gentle autumn rain.
When you wake in the morning hush
I am the swift uplifting rush
Of quiet birds in circling flight.
I am the soft starlight at night,
Do not stand at my grave and cry;
I am not there. I did not die.
M.E.Frye.
With Deepest Sympathy
A beautiful photo of sunlight dappling through a forest canopy with a deer in the distance forms the backdrop for this much loved poem so often read at funerals and rememberance services for people of all faiths or no faith. The same faded out image has been used for the insert with the simplest of texts : With Deepest Sympathy.
Death is a part of life, but this well-known verse will bring comfort and show you care. Thanks for looking.
