I combined this CUP with cup959838_437 and cup960053_437 to create a great 3d card for the young pirate of the family. I printed all pages onto 120gm glossy paper. I did have to increase the decoupage page by 2% so they would fit properly. I added gold glitter onto the buttons, sword hilt, and gold tooth. The circle border framed the pirate nicely. To add some adventure I added gold stars, birds, fish, seaweed and a key for the treasure chest! I added this verse to the insert which I believe was written by Janyce Cotterill: It was a perfect fit!
AHOY THERE, ME HEARTYS !
Come gather near !
This is something you’ll want to hear !
Celebrations are in order
the Captain does say!
C’os one of the crew
has a birthday today !
So all hands on deck,
set sail, here we go !
It’s party time
YO-HO-HO !
All in all, a fun card to put together for someone special!
