Summertime Australia VacationCompleted by Pamela Horton The whispering Platypus

This happy holiday scene is perfect for the jet setter to receive as a Greeting card to wish them a very happy holiday away from home.

I printed the sheet twice and used one copy as the main backing sheet and used the second copy to cut away the main wide blue border, and attach this to the main larger image using padded D.S. tape.

I then used a 13cm square pale dusty pink textured backing sheet, to define the edges using a fine line dark blue pen and then to attach this using D.S. tape to the back of the topper.

The main dusty pink linen textured card is cut at 29 x 15cm and scored and folded before attaching this main card to the topper.

I used several sets of fine silver decorative peel offs and some corner embellishments. I also used glitter silver glue to make the drink sparkle.

The insert I have used is cup 799405_79993, Pink Clematis, a design by Clare Walker, which I printed at full size and then cut to size before adding the verse and the sun umbrella and table to the left hand side.

The verse is from the free verse section and I have used a finger smudging effect and torn edges for this right hand side to add extra interest.
