Gatsby Lady 5

As it says a Quick card, but packs a lot of punch! But a lovely single sheet kit, a 6.5 x 6.5 inch topper with one layer of decoupage, and some sentiments.

I wanted this to pop, so used an 8x8 inch card blank, and matted the topper onto some black card stock.

If you don't have black card stock, cut the frame out leaving a few mm (2 or 3) extra around the edge, and use a black marker pen to go around the excess with a ruler for the same effect.

Then I mounted it with a tilt direct to the card base. I added the decoupage with foam pads, using my fingers too curve the decoupage slightly to hide the white edges of the cut, and added 3 small Black pearls.

I matted the sentiment again on black card and used foam pads to lift it slightly, overlapping the edge of the tilted image, keeping it level with the card base.

I also used my go to with any sort of eye a clear dimensional accent, as it really does make a difference.

Simple, clean, and effective.
