I chose this card for my beautiful daughter's birthday. I did cut out some of the background and did some rearranging in order to make it the way I had in mind. I first cut out the butterfly that would have been hidden under the skirt and a fern that would have been out of the picture as I wanted to use a letter size card stock.

I also cut away a small portion of the roses background. The beautiful girl for decoupage was cut out and layered with very small foam mounts on the top portion of the girl. The bottom portion (skirt) is curved and has thick blocks under the skirt to help hold it from being crushed. The fern which I used on the right side is actually holding the skirt solidly on the right, and the butterfly is holding the left side solidly. There are additional mounting foams going up the skirt on both sides. THe dove is layered with wings open as are the 2 butterflies. I did glitter the background oval the girls hair and necklace and down the length of her skirt. I used turquoise card stock and added decorative silver corners and edging. I'm sure any little girl would love this beautiful card ...even the ones that have just turned forty! I will probably do regular decoupage layering on the skirt on the rest of these beautiful girl patterns as all the elements are here for a beautiful feminine card. Now I just have to part with it and make another (or two).
