Butterfly Surprise Pink Envelope Card

A gorgeous design in beautiful strong colours printed onto 190gsm matte photo paper. I then cut out the various parts of the design, and starting with the large butterfly on the envelope front, covered it with a layer of glossy accents. While this was drying, I then gave the remaining butterfly decoupage pieces a light layer of glitter glaze. Once dry, I then used Kindyglitz crystalina on the coloured wings and once all layers were dry (after 24 hours) I used 2mm foam dots on the body only to attach each layer of the butterfly, bending the wings back slightly to add dimension.

I then attached the envelope front to the background using 1.5mm foam dots and used double-sided tape to attach to a blank white A5 size card and finished by attaching one of the sentiments with 2mm foam dots.

An absolutely stunning card in colours that would also look just as stunning without the added embellishments.
